Dante Furco

Dante Furco is the new Sports Director for WICS NewsChannel 20 and Fox Illinois.

Dante recently graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Sports Media and Broadcasting. He spent his time in college involved in both Sports Television and Radio.

He is passionate about both high school and college athletics. Dante looks forward to sharing the stories of many athletes on both levels.

He is from Syracuse, New York, where he has spent all of his life. In Syracuse, Dante "bled" Orange as a big Syracuse Orange fan.

Luckily, in Champaign, he will not have to change much to his wardrobe, given the Illini's orange and blue similarity.

When Dante is not working, he loves to watch sports, as well as spend time with family!

He is very excited about this new chapter in his life in Illinois.
