Caroleina Hassett

Caroleina is a multimedia journalist for Newschannel 20 and Fox Illinois.

She is from St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Arizona State University in 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication along with a minor in Music Theatre.

During her time at ASU, Caroleina reported and anchored for Cronkite News, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s newscast. She also studied a semester in Washington, DC where she reported on the 2020 Election.

Some places she previously interned were ABC15 and 12News in Phoenix. She spent her free time in college working as a Disney princess character performer for children’s birthday parties.
