Woman injured in Route 4 crash dies, driver charged
The 73-year-old woman, Irinda Gregory, was critically injured in a crash on Route 4 Tuesday night has passed away.
Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards says she was pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon around 2:45.
The driver of the vehicle that ran into Gregory's car, 63-year-old Teresa Gray, has been charged with four counts of aggravated DUI, no valid driver license, child endangerment and improper lane usage.
The Illinois State Police Agency is investigating the crash.
