Woman gets probation after hot beans, jail assault incidents
A woman who dumped hot beans on her 80-year-old roommate, leaving him with second-degree burns has been sentenced.
Decatur police said 42-year-old Kikia Fullenwider got angry at the man for not getting off the phone fast enough.
Fullenwider was found guilty for aggravated domestic battery in the incident involving the hot beans.
However, while she was in jail, she was also charged in an incident where she struck a correctional officer on April 18.
She was found guilty of aggravated battery for striking the officer.
Thursday, Fullenwider was sentenced to 2 years probation and 180 days in jail, which she was credited for.
Fullenwider was also ordered to undergo mental health evaluation and to continue with her current treatment.
She had previously been found unfit to stand trial.
The Macon County State's attorney tells us she is to have no contact with her former roommate.
