White Oaks Malls spreads breast cancer awareness through indulging
Thursday evening the White Oaks Mall held their annual Indulge event for breast cancer awareness.
The mall partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and other retailers for the event, featuring music, giveaways, and refreshments.
Organizers said breast cancer affects everyone and now is the perfect time to spread awareness.
“This means more to me than ever, to just get the word out for this because people just really need to understand they need to go and get tested and make sure they know the signs,” said White Oaks marketing director, Sophia Piersma.
