SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — The University of Illinois Springfield announced that all classes are canceled for Wednesday, January 30th.
The school also canceled classes in the evening after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29th.
However, the campus is still open.
Officials with the university said the campus will remain open during that time for the comfort of the students that live on campus and the employees.
The “Rent” performance scheduled for Wednesday, January 30th will go on as planned.
