Traffic stops lead to two drug arrest


The Illinois State Police made two drug arrests for cannabis found in cars they pulled over.

The first happened on Wednesday when officers were dispatched to a property damage crash in Kankakee County.

After a search, officials arrested and charged Robert Parada Jr. for possession of cannabis under 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The second incident happened in Iroquois County on Thursday.

Officials pulled over a car speeding and searched the car.

They charged the passenger Vanessa Fajardo for possession of cannabis over 30 grams.
