Springfield foodbank hosts Rock Against Hunger event

Thursday is Hunger Action Day, and Springfield raised awareness of hunger with the power of rock 'n' roll.

The Central Illinois Foodbank was at Hickory Point Bank on Koke Mill Road and Wabash Avenue in Springfield, along with local radio stations with live cooking demonstrations, rock painting, and more.

The foodbank's goal this month is to collect 1,000 gallons of milk.
