Scott Air Force Base commander relieved of command
A commander at Scott Air Force Base is no longer in command.
According to a press release, Lt. Gen. Giovanni Tuck, 18th Air Force commander, relieved Col. John Howard of command of the 375th Air Mobility Wing, effective Dec. 11, 2017.
It went on to say Lt. Gen. Tuck lost confidence in Howard's leadership and ability to continue serving in command.
Col. W. Chris Buschur, 375th AMW vice commander, serves as the interim commander effective immediately.
