Missing Person Awareness Network holds gala

    Missing Awareness Network holds gala

The Missing Persons Awareness Network held their first gala Saturday night.

It was to thank board members for the work they've done.

A family who's missing a loved one spoke at the gala.

Missing Persons Awareness Network president, Gia Wright, said next year they hope to do more searches and more documentaries.

The organization also plans to release an alert system with Crimestoppers for missing people.

“When someone is missing or when they're with someone who is harmful on the streets we are able to send out these alerts,” said Wright.
