Right now, Senator John McCain is at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland receiving treatment as he deals with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
McCain has been battling brain cancer for around five months now.
Senate sources are telling CNN Thursday night that they are concerned about his health. They share he appeared frail and that his energy was so low he didn’t even speak up at recent GOP meetings, which is very unlike him.
McCain missed all Senate votes this week, but his Republican colleagues insist he is resting up ahead of a tax reform vote.
Republicans are in need of his vote.
Despite a Republican majority, not everyone is on board.
