Lincoln College to Reduce MAP Grants
No state budget means students at Lincoln College who receive MAP grants will start receiving less money.
The college told Newschannel 20 it's reducing the value of the grants by 40% starting this semester, as the school tries to save money.
"We encourage the students to reach out to their local legislator and express how the lack of a budget with the state has impacted their ability to continue their education," said Greg Eimer, Lincoln College's VP of Finance and Administration.
Almost 67% of Lincoln College students receive a MAP grant, worth about $4,000.
