SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) — The annual Legacy of Giving Music Festival was in downtown Springfield Friday and Saturday.
The two-day event featured music, arts, crafts, food and activities for kids.
There were more than 50 musical acts across five stages, dozens of food trucks, and vendors for shoppers.
Festival goer, Rick Riesch said he enjoyed what the music festival had to offer.
“It brings the city together, it's something we don't get a lot here and it needs to happen more really,” said Riesch
The festival benefits 10 different charities.
Organizers hope this year's event exceeds last year's $23,000 dollars to help local charities.
