Law enforcement investigating shooting in Jerome

Update:

The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened in Jerome.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. on Friday near the 1100 block of West Iles Avenue.

Multiple agencies responded to the shooting.

Two men were injured in the shooting.

One is in critical but stable condition and the other had non-life threatening injuries.
