Land of Lincoln Honor Flight plans for 2018
The Land of Lincoln Honor Flight held their annual meeting Saturday.
The non-profit takes veterans to Washington D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of veterans.
Vice Chairman of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, Adam Liesman, said this meeting is a way to recap the previous year and get feedback from the community on things to change or add for the following year,
"I think the annual meeting is a great way to demonstrate to the community what we've done all year,” said Liesman. “You know, what all their hard efforts and all the things they've done into the community, what that turned into."
Last year, the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight took 350 veterans to D.C.
This year organizers plan to add a sixth trip to the honor flight.
