Judge heard retaliation lawsuit by campaign worker
A federal judge heard arguments in a retaliation lawsuit filed by a former campaign worker for house speaker Michael Madigan.
Alaina Hampton claims her career was sabotaged after she reported being sexually harassed by her supervisor in Madigan's campaign office, Kevin Guinn.
Madigan fired Guinn a day before Hampton went public with her accusations earlier this year.
A judge ruled the lawsuit can move forward.
However, Hampton's attorney said there have been discussions of a settlement.
