International professionals talk technology trends at Glenwood High School
Six education professionals from across the world met at Glenwood High School to discuss technology trends in education.
The International Visitor Leadership Program visited Glenwood to find out how the school used technology in education.
Its overall goal is to assess how new technologies impact student learning, explain how teachers can work with new technologies, and more.
Members of the program said technology has helped education in a huge way.
“Definitely really helps in terms of giving kids access to the tools to actually learn in a better environment,” said Peter O’Shea with the Coder Dojo Foundation.
The program has 24 representatives from across the world who are leaders in their field.
They work with the U.S. Embassy with education and technology.
