Illinois daycare worker accused of burning 5 toddlers
A former Chicago daycare worker is accused of burning five children with a glue gun.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Lizandra Cosme brought the glue-gun for a Christmas project.
One parent, an ER physician, noticed burn marks on her two-year-old's hands and demanded to see surveillance video.
The video reportedly shows Cosme using the glue-gun directly on the hands and arms of five toddlers.
An assistant, who was also in the room, is seen laughing and now faces misdemeanor charges.
The daycare says it immediately contacted authorities, fired the two employees, and is now working with investigators.
