Chicago plane makes emergency landing
A Tokyo-bound American Airlines plane returned to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago Monday Afternoon.
The plane had a cracked windshield in the cockpit.
A spokesperson says the multiple-layered windshield remained in place despite the crack.
The airliner made an emergency landing minutes after taking off.
164 passengers and 13 crew members were aboard the aircraft.
American Airlines says its maintenance team evaluated the plane, which is a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
There were no injuries reported from this incident.
