Chicago apartment fire displaces hundreds
A structure fire in Chicago leaves hundreds of people homeless.
The blaze broke out July 19th in the prospect heights suburb.
Officials say every time crews seemed to get things under control, flames would flare up again.
Three large buildings were destroyed.
One of them was a 50-year-old complex, which because of its age, didn't have to have sprinklers.
No word on what caused the fire.
There are reports of three people injured, but all are expected to recover.
