Chatham man arrested on soliciting a child charges
A Chatham man is behind bars after police say he solicited a child. Chatham police say they were notified about the incident on May 5.
Glenn E. Anderson, 25, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on September 15.
Anderson is facing charges of grooming, solicitation to meet a child, and indecent solicitation of a child.
He is still in custody in the Sangamon County Jail as of Thursday morning. Anderson's bond was set at $500,000.
A preliminary hearing is set for October 4 at 9 a.m.
