Carolers help ring in the Christmas season
Families came out to sing Christmas carols at the annual Caroling at the Carillon Sunday.
Hundreds sang both traditional and newer songs, so there was something for everyone.
Carolers were accompanied by a band and the Carillon bells.
Secretary of the board for the Rees Carillon Society, Barbara Walker, said the event is a big hit annually.
“Especially on a nice night like tonight the weather is cooperating and a lot of families are coming out,” said Walker “it's a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season.”
If you missed out on this year’s event there's always next year.
Walker said Caroling at the Carillon is the second Sunday of December from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
