Candlelight service focused on love and inclusiveness
Abraham Lincoln Unitarian Universalist Congregation held their annual Christmas Eve service Sunday.
The candlelight service has gone on for decades and this year they welcomed over 130 people.
Membership Coordinator, Tracy Zieber, said the message was about love and inclusiveness.
She said Sunday’s service included many of the world's religions and traditions.
“This season is about love and we want to make sure everyone knows our doors are open and we are welcoming to everyone in the community,” said Zieber.
Zieber said the candlelight from the service signifies everyone has a small light.
And when it's shared with others, it can drive out the darkness.
