Rise in birth defects linked to Zika
There's now an increase in birth defects linked to the Zika virus, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Researchers found that three out of every 1,000 babies had a defect that could be from the Zika virus.
About half of those infants were born with brain abnormalities or small head size.
The CDC warns that there might be another spike in 2017 since women exposed in late 2016 would have given birth the next year.
