Southeast High School Placed On Soft Lockdown, Students Safe
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
Another threatening message was found in Springfield, this time at Southeast High School.
District 186 says lunch was briefly delayed as school officials responded.
Multiple Springfield police officers were sent to the school.
Police say it may have been a copycat incident after the threats at Glenwood.
The soft lockdown was lifted at 11:40 a.m. and school returned to normal.
