Missing Bloomington mom found safe
MATTOON, Ill. (WRSP/WICS) —
Carmon Edwards was found safe Wednesday, according to the Mattoon Police Department.
The Bloomington Police Department reports Edwards was found by a Good Samaritan
On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Illinois State Police District 10 in Pesotum, Illinois notified the Bloomington Police Department that Carmon D. Edwards walked into their headquarters with a good Samaritan from Mattoon and appears to be in good health.
Police say witnesses spotted 53-year-old Carmon Edwards in Mattoon Tuesday morning.
Investigators say she was last heard from on Christmas around 11 a.m.
Her family and friends say she was driving a gold 2004 Mitsubishi Galant and was supposed to be heading see family in Washington or Pekin.
