Mommy Matters: New Device To Help Children With Autism
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
There could be relief for children with autism in the form of new technology.
Many children with autism have difficulty focusing and a new device could help.
It’s called ‘Buzzies’ and looks similar to a watch.
According to the creators, it uses the therapy of bi-lateral stimulation, interfering with your body’s stress response.
“I am the mother of two children who are twice exception and they need Buzzies,” said Dr. Amy Serin, creator of Buzzies. “We can give people access to stress relief all around the world and have more peace, better performance.”
Buzzies can be worn around the wrist like a watch or by putting it in a pocket.
The device is controlled by an app on your phone.
