Man accused of shooting at officers deemed unfit to stand trial
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
The man accused of shooting at officers during a car chase in Springfield has been deemed unfit to stand trial.
Dossie Baker faced numerous charges after being arrested in May, and could get up to 60 years in prison.
Baker will now receive mental health treatment from the Department of Human Services.
His fitness to stand trial will be reevaluated in November.
