Latest RV Models On Display At PCCC

RV show rolls into Springfield. (WICS)

It's almost camping season and families are checking out the latest RV models on the market.

Nine different dealers from three states came out to the Prairie Capital Convention Center this weekend to showcase their RVs.

This is the 24th year the RV and camping show has taken place.

We're told, the RV industry continues to grow each year and the show is a great opportunity for outdoor lovers to learn about RV's and how affordable they can be.

"Everybody can't afford a $140 a night on the average hotel room, but you can afford a $40 a night family vacation at a campground. These campgrounds are like total resorts nowadays anyway," said Dennis Johnston, event coordinator.

Organizers also describe the show as a one stop shop for all of your RV needs.
