Jury selection begins for longest-serving Sangamon County Jail inmate

Jury selection is underway for the longest-serving inmate in the history of the Sangamon County Jail.

Police arrested Johnny Ray Priester on first-degree murder charges back in May of 2012.

Priester is accused of shooting Quinton Harden and faces life in state prison.

He's also charged with aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and possession of a weapon by a felon.

Jury selection continues Tuesday.

The trial is expected to last two weeks.
