Illinois Bicentennial beer unveiled
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WRSP/WICS) —
We now know what Illinois’ bicentennial beer can will look like.
Bicentennial 1818 Craft Beer will come in a blue can with the bicentennial logo printed on the can.
Governor Bruce Rauner, Rep. Tim Butler and Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder were at Binny's Beverage Depot in Springfield Wednesday afternoon to unveil the new cans.
"Words just can’t express how excited we are about this, and how great is have been working with the state, working with breakthrough, and making it as easy as they could."
Earlier in the month, the U.S. Post Office released their Illinois Bicentennial stamps.
