SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WICS) —
A Habitat for Humanity volunteer traveling to all 50 states made a stop in Sangamon County.

His goal is to visit and volunteer in all 50 states this year to raise awareness about Habitat for Humanity and Focus on giving people the chance to own their own homes.
“From my own experiences as a child moving around a lot and almost always being a renter, the value of owning a home is so important to your future development, that’s just something that really resonates with me,” said Darrell Gilmore, Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
