Event aims to attract new customers to local shops
It was a busy day for some Springfield shops, for their fourth annual 'love tour.'
The Saturday before Valentine's Day, people are challenged to hit nine different Springfield shops.
At each location, there's a charm.
If you get all nine, you get entered in a raffle.
Some businesses said they saw around 150 people come in.
"It provides visibility. We're small businesses in a large community and sometimes you don't have time to go out and seek out new locations," explained Greg Pierceall, with House+Garden.
This event aims to attract new customers to local shops, which in turn, will help them thrive year long.
