Democratic candidates face off over attorney general seat

Democratic state attorney general candidates are making their case to voters Monday in Chicago for why they should be elected.

They'll be in Chicago at one of their first candidate forums taking place ahead of the March primary.

The race opened after Attorney General Lisa Madigan made an unexpected announcement that she wouldn't be running for a fifth term.

Eight Democrats and two Republicans are expected on the ballot.
