Danville Police searching for Kentucky Street shooters

The Danville Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on 11/11/17.

Around 10:48 pm Danville Police Officers responded to the unit block of Kentucky Street in reference to a shooting that had occurred in that area.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old Danville man with a wound to his upper arm. The victim reported he was in his vehicle in the unit block of Kentucky Street when two M/B subjects began shooting at him. The victim stated his vehicle was struck several times by gunfire and he was struck once in his arm.

The victim was transported by medical personnel to an area hospital where he received treatment for a non-life-threatening wound and then later released.

The suspects are described as both being male black’s wearing blue jeans and hooded sweatshirts with their hoods up. The suspects were last seen running from the area and left in an unknown direction.

This investigation is ongoing and no more information is being released at this time.
