City of Springfield suspends Wet Bar's 3 a.m. liquor license
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
The City of Springfield has rolled back the Wet Bar's 3 a.m. liquor license to a 1 a.m. license.
According to the Mayor, the decision stems from several incidents of fights and a stabbing outside the bar on 5th Street in the past year.
Wet Bar's owner said while it's unfortunate, he does feel the decision is justified.
City officials can consider reinstating the Wet Bar's 3 a.m. license in one year.
