$2 million dollars to agencies for seniors, disabilities, and assisted housing families
Agencies aiding seniors are receiving more than $2 million in federal money.
This will also help people with disabilities and families in assisted housing.
10 housing authorities will split a million dollars to counsel prospective tenants, and another million will head to 22 other complexes for employment.
US Senator Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth announced these grants from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
