Rauner will soon bring back Illinois' Corporate Tax Incentive Program
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
Governor Bruce Rauner is expected to sign a bill that would reinstate the state's premier corporate tax incentive program.
Some argue it's a move that could encourage job creators to come to the Land of Lincoln.
The Economic Development for a Growing Economy program has been disbanded since May when the previous version expired.
The new program would still provide tax breaks for companies that promise to create jobs in Illinois.
