Millions Of Americans Cross Border For EpiPens
Millions of Americans have been hit hard by the high cost of EpiPens.
Now some people are going across the border to Canada to get the crucial medication.
EpiPens cost about $50 in Canada. They can also be bought over the counter in Canada, meaning no prescription is needed to buy it.
"If an American citizen does require that medication, we can offer it to them at the same cost we would offer it to any Ontario resident," said Jordan Law, Canadian pharmacist
Canadian pharmacies also get their EpiPens from the company Mylan, so consumers are buying the exact same product that they would in the states. .
