Cigna Drops EpiPens From Their Coverage
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
Health insurer Cigna, is dropping Mylan's EpiPen from their coverage.
The company said it will now only cover the cheaper generic version of the allergy medication.
Mylan came under fire last year after raising the price of EpiPens more than 400 percent since 2009.
The change comes as president-elect Donald Trump promises to fight rising drug prices.
