No Bake "Energy" Bites
Hope Danielson from County Market joins us in the kitchen with a new recipe to share.
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup honey
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes (could use chocolate chips as well)
1/2 cup dried cherries (could use raisins or dried cranberries)
1/2 cup sunflower butter (could substitute nut butter)
1/2 cup ground flaxseed or wheat germ
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1. Combine all ingredients in medium bowl.
2. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
3. Roll into bite sized balls.
